Hotel Lobby AI Video: Your Rap Duo in the Orange Booth
Turn two selfies, or one photo of you both, into a 12-second rap clip of you two on stage, with an AI beat and vocals rapping an original verse written around your names.
Example made with this effect, with sound. The two people are AI-generated, not real.
- Two selfies or one photo of you both
- Beat and rap vocals in an original verse
- Four stages, lyrics written around your names
Upload one photo per person
Clear, front-facing photos with one face each work best. They can be taken at different times and places.

The short answer
A Hotel Lobby AI video turns two selfies, or one photo of you both, into a 12-second clip of the two of you rapping side by side at one microphone, with an AI-made beat and vocals. Pick the stage, type the names and the occasion, and we write a short original verse around them. Check the credit cost, which is shown before anything is charged, and confirm. Hotel Lobby is the trend's name, not the location.
What's new
- The maker now takes two photos or one photo of you both, offers four stages (the orange booth, a luxury lobby, a dark studio booth and a street cypher) and writes the verse around the names and occasion you type. The model, resolution, length and format can now be changed too.
- The video now has sound: about 12 seconds with an AI-made beat and rap vocals in an original verse.
- Expanded the page with a step-by-step guide, photo tips and answers to common questions.
How to make it
- 1
Add your photos
In the maker at the top of this page, choose Two photos (one clear selfie per person) or One photo of both (one photo with both faces side by side; the person on the left raps first). You can choose photos on your device before you sign in. They stay in your browser for up to 24 hours and upload only after you sign in.
- 2
Pick the stage
Choose the orange booth from the trend, a luxury hotel lobby with marble and chandeliers, a dark studio booth with purple neon, or a street cypher at night.
- 3
Say who the song is for
Type the names and the occasion, for example "Jake's 30th birthday, best friends since 2nd grade", or tap Birthday, Anniversary, Best friends or My business. We write a short original verse around it, split between the two of you. Leave it empty and you get a general hype verse.
- 4
Check the cost and confirm
The standard video is 12 seconds, 720p and vertical for 10 credits. You can change the model, resolution, length or format, and the credit cost updates as you do. Sign in, confirm that everyone pictured is an adult who agreed to be included, and nothing is charged until you confirm.
- 5
Wait, then download and post
Picture and sound are generated in one pass from your photos and go through an automated safety check. When the video is ready, download the MP4 from your history under My videos. Results are kept for 30 days, so save a copy.
What you get
- Two people from your photos, one on the left and one on the right, side by side at a vintage microphone on the stage you picked.
- A rap performance with sound: an AI-made beat and two voices rapping a short original verse, taking turns and finishing the last line together.
- Lyrics written around the names and occasion you type, or a general hype verse if you leave it empty.
- A photorealistic live-studio look with casual streetwear and one steady shot with no cuts.
- By default a vertical 9:16 MP4 at 720p, about 12 seconds long, shaped for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Square and widescreen formats, other lengths and other resolutions are available at a different credit cost.
- A download in your history that stays available for 30 days after the video is ready.
Photo tips
- Use photos of adults with the whole face visible and turned roughly toward the camera.
- Choose sharp, evenly lit photos. Avoid sunglasses, masks, hats that shade the eyes, heavy beauty filters and hard shadows.
- Head-and-shoulders or half-body shots work best. If a face looks small in the frame, crop closer before you upload.
- With Two photos, use one person per photo; they do not need to be taken together. With One photo of both, pick a photo where both faces are clear and side by side, and no one else is in it.
- Check the thumbnails before you confirm: Photo 1, or the person on the left of a shared photo, raps first.
- Use JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF files under 10 MB, and only photos you own or have permission to use.
Good to know
This is an AI-generated scene, not a recording, and results vary from one attempt to the next. Faces, hands, clothing and movement can differ from your photos, and exact likeness is not guaranteed; a shared photo with small faces usually gives a weaker likeness than two clear selfies. The voices are AI-generated, not your own voices, and the lip sync is AI-made too, so mouths can drift from the words and a line can come out slightly different from the written verse. The verse is written around what you type, but you can't paste in full lyrics of your own, and it is original, not a real song. The light and camera on each stage are fixed, and you can't add a third person or make a solo version. A request can also fail, be blocked by the safety check or wait for human review.
Before you create
What is the Hotel Lobby AI trend?
It's a TikTok and Instagram Reels trend, sometimes called the orange booth trend or the AI rap duo trend, in which people use AI to put themselves and a friend or relative into a live-studio rap clip. Two performers stand side by side in an orange booth and rap at one microphone. This page makes your own Hotel Lobby video from your photos, with nothing to film or record.
How do I do the Hotel Lobby trend?
In the maker above, add two selfies or one photo of you both, pick the stage and type who the song is for. Sign in, check the credit cost, then confirm. When it's ready, download the MP4 from your history and post it.
Do I need an app, a CapCut template or a prompt?
No. Everything runs in your web browser on a phone or computer, so there's nothing to install. There's no CapCut template to download and no prompt to write: the stage, the beat and the performance are already set, and you only type the names and the occasion for the verse.
Does the video have sound?
Yes. Each clip comes with an AI-made beat and two AI-generated voices rapping a short original verse. It is not the song the trend is named after and does not copy any real artist or voice. You can still swap the audio for a sound the platform offers when you post.
Can I put our names in the lyrics?
Yes. Under "Who's the song for?" type the names and the occasion, up to 120 characters, and we write a short original verse around them. The left person raps the first line, the right person answers, and both finish together. Leave it empty for a general hype verse. You can't paste in a full song of your own.
Can I use one photo of both of us?
Yes. Choose One photo of both and upload a photo where both faces are clear and side by side; the person on the left raps first. Two separate selfies usually keep faces closer to the photos, so use them when you have them. Both people must be adults who agreed to appear in the video.
Which stages can I pick?
Four: the orange booth from the original trend, a luxury hotel lobby with marble, gold and chandeliers, a dark studio booth with purple neon, and a street cypher at night with a graffiti wall. Every stage is generated; the trend's name comes from a song title.
How long is the video, and where can I post it?
The standard video is about 12 seconds, a vertical 9:16 MP4 at 720p, which fits TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You can choose a shorter or longer clip, a lower or higher resolution, or a square or widescreen format; the exact length and credit cost appear before you confirm. Many platforms ask you to label AI-generated content, so use that label when it applies.
Is the Hotel Lobby AI generator free?
No, it isn't free. The standard video costs 10 credits, and other models, resolutions and lengths cost more or less; the cost is always shown before you confirm. Credits come in one-time packs that never expire. If a confirmed generation fails, the credits charged for that attempt are returned once. You can request a refund of unused paid credits within 168 hours of payment.
Can I use a photo of a celebrity or someone else?
Not of a celebrity or public figure. You can use photos of other people only if you own the photos or have permission, and only if everyone pictured is an adult (18+) who agreed to be included. Photos of minors are not allowed, and you shouldn't make a video of anyone without their consent.
Is this a face swap?
No. It doesn't paste faces onto existing footage from the trend. A new scene, with picture and sound, is generated from your photos in one pass. That's why faces, hands, clothing and movement can vary, and why exact likeness is not guaranteed.
What happens if the generation fails?
A confirmed failure, including a result blocked by the safety check, returns the credits charged for that attempt once. If your connection drops while you submit, use the recover option instead of starting over; it checks the same request without a second charge. If a finished clip looks off, try sharper, front-facing photos. Each new attempt uses credits.
