Hotel Lobby AI video: how the orange-booth duo trend works

How the Hotel Lobby AI video trend works: two selfies or one photo of you both become a 12-second rap duo clip, with a beat and an original verse written around your names.

A Hotel Lobby AI video turns two selfies, or one photo of you both, into a vertical clip, about 12 seconds long, of the two of you rapping side by side at a vintage microphone in a booth with bright orange walls. It comes with sound: an AI-made beat and two AI voices rapping a short original verse written around the names and occasion you type, such as a birthday or an anniversary. Despite the name, the classic setting is a studio booth, not a hotel. Both people must be adults who agreed to be included. You can make one on the Hotel Lobby AI video page.

Why it is called Hotel Lobby

Hotel Lobby is the trend's name, not a description of the place. What people recreate is a live studio look: a tight room with bold orange walls, two performers at the mic, confident hand gestures and playful reactions as they trade lines back and forth. The appeal is the chemistry between two people sharing one mic.

Framecomet rebuilds that look from your photos. It does not reuse any original performance, footage or performers, and it does not paste your faces onto an existing video. The effect is not based on any specific artist: the beat, the voices and the verse are all newly generated, and the trend's original song is not used.

What the effect generates

  • Two performers side by side: the person from the first photo on the left and the person from the second photo on the right, or the two people from a shared photo in the same order.
  • The stage you pick: the orange booth from the trend, a luxury hotel lobby, a dark studio booth with purple neon or a street cypher at night.
  • Casual streetwear outfits and a live-studio look.
  • A short original verse written around what you type: the left person raps first, the right person answers, and both finish the last line together.
  • An AI-made beat and AI voices, with hand gestures, head nods and playful reactions.
  • One steady shot with no cuts.
  • By default a vertical 9:16 clip at 720p, about 12 seconds long, for 10 credits. You can change the model, resolution, length or format, and the exact length and cost appear before you confirm.

How to make a Hotel Lobby AI video from your photos

  1. Open the Hotel Lobby AI video page.
  2. Choose Two photos and add one selfie per person, or One photo of both and add a photo with both faces side by side. Photo 1, or the person on the left of a shared photo, raps first. You can pick the photos on your device before signing in; they stay in that browser for up to 24 hours and upload only after you sign in.
  3. Pick the stage, then type who the song is for, for example the names and a birthday, or tap Birthday, Anniversary, Best friends or My business. Leave it empty for a general hype verse. Then sign in and confirm that both people are adults who agreed to be included and that you have the right to use the photos.
  4. Check the photos and the credit cost shown before you confirm, then confirm to create the task.
  5. Let the clip generate. Picture and sound are made in one pass from your photos. Automated safety checks screen the photos and the result, and some results wait for a short human review, usually within a day.
  6. Download the clip from your history. Results are kept for 30 days, so save your own copy.

Picking photos for a rap duo

The scene is a two-shot, so both faces need to read clearly at the same time. Two solo selfies usually keep each face closest to the photo; a shared photo works too when both faces are large and clear. Choose photos where each person faces the camera or turns only slightly, with the eyes visible and no sunglasses or caps pulled low. Head-and-shoulders or half-body photos work well, while tiny faces in wide shots carry little detail. Keep the lighting similar if you can, skip heavy beauty filters and crop away anyone else in the frame.

Any two consenting adults can form the duo: friends, siblings, roommates or a pair of creators. Decide together who takes the left position, since the person from the first photo always stands on the left, and agree on where the finished clip will be posted before you create it.

You cannot put a famous rapper, a celebrity or any other public figure in the booth, and you cannot use photos of minors. Only use photos you took yourself or have permission to use, and make sure your partner is happy to appear. The photo and consent checklist covers the details.

What it does not do

  • It is not a face swap. Your photos are used to generate a new scene, and no existing performance video is reused.
  • It does not clone your voices. The voices are AI-generated, and the lip sync is AI-made too, so mouths can drift from the words and a line can come out slightly different from the written verse.
  • You cannot paste in a full song of your own. You type the names and the occasion, and the verse is written around them.
  • You can pick one of four stages, but the light and camera on each stage are fixed, and nothing is filmed in a real hotel.
  • The scene is designed without text, captions or logos.
  • Likeness can vary between attempts, and exact likeness is not guaranteed. In two-person scenes, features can occasionally drift from one performer to the other, so check both people across the whole clip.

Posting the clip

The clip downloads with its beat and vocals, ready to post on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Adding captions with the verse helps viewers follow the lines. Label the clip as AI-generated where the platform asks you to, and do not present it as a real recording of either person.

Quick checklist

  • Two solo selfies with clear faces, or one photo where both faces are clear and side by side.
  • Both people are adults (18+) who agreed to appear.
  • No celebrities, public figures or minors.
  • Left and right positions decided before uploading.
  • Credit cost reviewed before confirming.
  • Names and occasion typed, and both faces and the verse checked before sharing.
